■ 영상제에서 자체 개발 VR 콘텐츠로 체험 진행

경상북도와 MBN이 공동 주최한 이번 행사는 지난 12일부터 14일까지 구미와 포항, 경산, 그리고 청도 등 경상북도 4개 시군에서 열렸습니다. 패스파인더는 전맹 시각장애인의 이동 환경과 감각을 실감 나게 구현한 VR 콘텐츠 '블라인드 시뮬레이터'를 활용해서 다양한 분과 접점을 만들었습니다.

■ 사람과 공간, 그리고 새로운 가능성을 연결하는 가상현실(VR) 전문 기업

이날 전시 부스에서는 앞서 말한 바와 같이, 블라인드 시뮬레이터를 직접 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공해 드렸습니다. VR 기기만으로 별도의 장비 없이 이용 가능한 점, 멀미를 최소화한 자체 설계, 착석 모드 지원 등 접근성을 강화한 기술적 장점도 현장에서 체험과 함께 상세히 설명해드렸습니다.

■ 지역과의 협업으로 상생하는 패스파인더

패스파인더는 경상북도와 구미 지역과의 이번 협업을 시작으로 중고등학생, 대학생, 그리고 직장인 대상의 VR 장애 인식 교육 프로그램과 기타 다양한 상설 체험관 구축 등 지역 연계 사업도 꾸준히 제안하고 사업화할 예정입니다.

We are PATHFINDER, a developer of immersive and interactive content, and we are pleased to share the news of our participation in GAMFF 2025 (Gyeongbuk International AI & Metaverse Film Festival).

■ Showcasing Our Proprietary VR Content

Co-hosted by Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and MBN, the event was held from September 12–14 across four cities in Gyeongbuk: Gumi, Pohang, Gyeongsan, and Cheongdo.

At the festival, PATHFINDER engaged with diverse audiences through our proprietary VR content, the BLIND SIMULATOR, which vividly recreates the mobility environments and sensory experiences of people with total visual impairment.

■ A VR Company Connecting People, Spaces, and New Possibilities

Our exhibition booth allowed visitors to experience the BLIND SIMULATOR firsthand.

We highlighted its technical strengths, including the ability to run on VR devices without extra equipment, a proprietary design minimizing motion sickness, and a seated mode that enhances accessibility—all demonstrated live at the booth.

■ PATHFINDER: Growing Together Through Regional Collaboration

Through this collaboration with Gyeongbuk Province and the city of Gumi, PATHFINDER is planning further initiatives such as VR disability awareness education programs for middle school, high school, and university students, as well as professionals.

We also aim to propose and develop permanent experience centers and other regionally connected projects, building a sustainable ecosystem in partnership with local communities.
