몰입형 실감 콘텐츠 개발사 패스파인더입니다. 지난 11일 김해문화체육관에서 열린 ‘2025 김해시 특성화고·청년 취업박람회’에 참가했던 소식을 전해드립니다.

■ 취업박람회 내 체험부스에서 VR 체험 인기리에 진행

이날 박람회 현장에는 600여 명의 참가자들이 다양한 부스에서 취업상담과 체험 등을 진행했습니다. 그중 많은 학생들과 관계자들이 패스파인더의  VR체험 부스에서 전맹 시각장애 교육 체험을 실감 나게 구현한 '블라인드 시뮬레이터'를 체험했습니다.

그리고 체험자 대상으로 설문 조사를 한 결과 'VR 체험 콘텐츠가 실제 시각장애인의 어려움을 잘 반영했다고 생각하시나요?'라는 질문에 95% 이상이 '그렇다'라고 답변해주었습니다. 

■ 시각장애를 직관적으로 이해할 수 있는 VR 콘텐츠

패스파인더의 블라인드 시뮬레이터는 전맹 시각장애 교육 체험을 실감 나게 구현하는 제품입니다. 시각장애에 좀 더 직관적으로 이해할 수 있는 VR 콘텐츠로서, 시야 제거 알고리즘, 3D사운드, 지팡이 햅틱 반응 등으로 현실과 유사한 조건에서 ‘보이지 않는 이동'을 체험하며, 감각을 전환하고 사회적 배려의 중요성을 직관적으로 느낄 수 있게 설계되었습니다.

이번 박람회처럼 교육기관과 공공기관 대상으로 인식 개선 훈련과 유사한 체험형 콘텐츠로도 널리 보급되어 활용되고 있습니다.

PATHFINDER Participates in the 2025 Gimhae Specialized High School & Youth Job Fair

We are PATHFINDER, a developer of immersive content, and we are pleased to share the news of our participation in the 2025 Gimhae Specialized High School & Youth Job Fair, held on September 11 at the Gimhae Culture & Sports Center.

■ VR Experience Booth Draws Strong Interest

The job fair welcomed over 600 participants, who engaged in job consultations and hands-on activities across various booths. Among them, many students and stakeholders visited PATHFINDER’s VR booth to experience the BLIND SIMULATOR, which vividly recreates the mobility environment of people with total visual impairment.

A post-experience survey revealed that, when asked “Do you think the VR content accurately reflects the real challenges faced by people with visual impairments?”, over 95% responded “Yes.”

■ VR Content That Enables Intuitive Understanding of Visual Impairment

PATHFINDER’s BLIND SIMULATOR is designed to realistically reproduce the experience of total blindness for educational purposes.

By integrating a vision-blocking algorithm, 3D audio, and cane-based haptic feedback, it allows users to experience “invisible navigation” under near-real conditions—helping them shift perception, engage other senses, and intuitively grasp the importance of social consideration.

As demonstrated at this job fair, the BLIND SIMULATOR is increasingly being used by educational and public institutions as an impactful awareness training and experiential learning tool.
